The Blossom Tree Clinic is an acupuncture and complementary health clinic

About the Clinic

The Blossom Tree Clinic, based in Pinner is a healthcare clinic delivering a variety of complementary therapies to the community. It was founded by Kate Levinson, an acupuncturist and practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine. We believe that every person’s body and health is entirely unique, and every therapy at the clinic aims to treat the individual in a holistic way.

At The Blossom Tree Clinic, we do cupping, gua sha, moxa and other anciet chinese medicine techniques

What We Offer

The clinic offers various therapies from different backgrounds, as we believe the body is a complex system with more than one path towards health. Often, a combination of therapies are best to treat the complexity of disease in the body, working towards physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing. You know your body best, and we trust you will explore what therapeutic options are best for you.

Kate is the founder and owner of The Blossom Tree clinic, where she works as an acupuncturist and chinese medicine practitioner

About Kate

Founder & Acupuncturist

I began my journey towards alternative therapies from a young age, as I experienced a number of health issues in my childhood. Being passed from doctor to doctor, sent home feeling unheard, and seeing my health decline rather than improve, eventually led me to take control of my health and seek complimentary medicine.

After trying many branches of complimentary therapy, I stumbled upon Acupuncture. I was amazed by Chinese Medicine’s approach to treating the entire body, rather than individual symptoms and conditions. Each treatment is designed uniquely for the patient, rather than one size fits all.

I graduated from The City College of Acupuncture in London with First Class Honours. I am a registered member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC). Before I studied Traditional Chinese Medicine, I gained a degree in Psychology (BSc Hons) and worked as an Assistant Psychologist.

My background in trying many complementary therapies has shown me the importance of integrated medicine. I believe a clinic that embraces a variety of therapies working together can have a greater impact on a patient’s health than a single discipline working alone.  Even more so, the patient can be exposed to alternative options they may not have considered, and eventually this will lead them to the therapy that is right for them.

I am a registered member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC), an organisation that demands the highest standards of professional practice of Acupuncture in the UK. For more information, their website is www.acupuncture.org.uk.

Our Commitment to Sustainability

At The Blossom Tree Clinic we are committed to improving the sustainability of our workplace and practices. Here are the steps we have taken to support local businesses and reduce our environmental impact:

  • Where possible, we use Ocean Saver cleaning products around the clinic. This brand uses dissolvable pods and reusable bottles. This reduces plastic waste and the use of harmful chemicals. Unfortunately, a small amount of stronger chemicals must be used on the treatment bed for hygiene standards.

  • In our waiting room you can use mugs for herbal teas and glasses for water which we will wash for you and reuse to avoid waste. We also have a filtered water dispenser, so you can feel comfortable drinking our tap water.

  •  We are conscious of our use of paper: our note taking is done online, and any information we send you away with will be sent over email.

  • Any candles you see around the clinic are bought from a small business that sells in the Ruislip Artisan Market. You can buy some of your own at www.inzho.com. All their packaging and candles are compostable or recyclable, and plastic free.

If you notice anything in the clinic you feel we can improve on, please do let your practitioner know. We welcome your suggestions to continue to improve our environmental impact.
